Keep temperature below his AI-dependent threshold and run the fan until it is below the threshold before his teeth finish closing. At AI 20 the trigger is around five bars.

Manageable counters

Nightmarionne: appears at one door. Do not look toward that side; the looping nightmare sound becomes louder when you face the threat.
Nightmare BB: appears inside a camera feed. Click him repeatedly until he leaves.
Dreadbear: arrives at the window and requests a pictured candy. Drag the matching candy from the side bowls into his mouth before time expires.
Molten Freddy: approaches a door and attacks after a fixed delay rather than immediately bonking against a closed door. Time the correct door for the actual attack.

Nightmare Fredbear temperature rule

Nightmare Fredbear sets an AI-dependent temperature ceiling. At AI 20, the teeth begin closing around five bars. Turn on the fan and get below the threshold; simply enabling the fan while temperature remains too high does not cancel the kill. His attack continues while cameras are open.

Avoid this salvage without Super Fan. A weak fan forces constant temperature babysitting and conflicts with heater-dependent vent defense.

Twisted Wolf

Twisted Wolf may appear after the monitor drops. Click the tiny disc at a random point on his body. The hitbox is unforgiving and can be covered by Helpy, Dreadbear's request, or other overlays.

Plushtrap safety method

Every monitor drop sends Plushtrap from the window toward one door. Flashlight on the correct door removes him; flashing the wrong door is instantly lethal.

If you missed his direction, close one door and flash the other. Either the light removes him or the closed door contains him. When Twisted Wolf appears at the same monitor drop, Plushtrap always chooses the right door; resolve Twisted Wolf, then flash right.
